You will receive 3 rooted pads of Long Spined Prickly Pear Cactus (Opuntia engelmannii). Each pad is already rooted and ready for planting. Pads are shipped as live cactus plants and may show natural variation in size, shape, and spine density.

About the plant:
Long Spined Prickly Pear is a hardy cactus species recognized for its flat pads and prominent spines. It is commonly grown in arid and semi-arid landscapes, cactus gardens, and containers. This cactus prefers bright light and well-draining soil and is suitable for outdoor planting in warm, dry climates or container growing where winters are cold. Plants should be handled carefully due to spines. Growth and establishment depend on climate, planting conditions, and care.
